About the Course

IIT Roorkee, in association with the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) and Indian Roads Congress (IRC), is organizing the 5th 15-days Certification Course for Road Safety Auditors as per the latest course content and guidelines prepared by MoRTH and IRC for fulfilling eligibility requirements of Road Safety Auditors.
This course will be an excellent opportunity for Engineers, Consultants, Practitioners, Researchers, etc. with Civil Engineering background to enhance their knowledge and skills, and certify themselves in the domain of Road Safety Engineering and Auditing. Examination/evaluation will be conducted for the issuance of accreditation from IRC. As advised by the Ministry, the 5th RSA course will be held physically from February 20, 2023 to March 06, 2023 at IIT Roorkee. Other information regarding the course, such as the program schedule, and travel details, will be informed later to the registered candidates.
LOCATION
The mandatory site visits for the Road Safety Auditors Certification course are planned in the plain as well as hilly terrains. The tentative locations are near Roorkee, Dehradun, and Rishikesh. This is the first kind of Road Safety Auditors Certification course in India, which shall have site visits in the hills.
REGISTRATION
The final selection of candidates for the Certification Course will be made in two steps. Initially, interested people need to fill out the registration form (https://civil.iitr.ac.in/road-safety-course/Registration) to show their interest in the course. The deadline for registration is 3rd February 2023. The shortlisted candidates will then be notified by 5th February 2023 to make the payment latest by 6th February 2023 (Monday)
